DVSA Software Update for May 2018

This is a two stage process to complete your DVSA update!

Stage 1

Firstly, the minimum specification to accept the DVSA update means that your BEA850 must have a Windows 7 or 10 computer system.

If your existing computer is Windows 7 or 10 you will need a new Bosch application system software loaded. This will be carried out free of charge as soon as you place an order for the DVSA update software.An engineer will visit your site and carry this work out as soon as possible in preparation of the software release.

If your existing computer is Windows XP it will need to have the computer replaced with a special computer meeting the Bosch specification. This needs to be completed by one of our engineers in preparation of the software release.

The Price of the new computer (£450), travel and installation (£150.00) is: £600.00 + VAT. If you have additional software on your PC such as a roller brake tester there is an additional charge of £100 + vat.

Finally, some older existing printers do not operate on Windows 10, therefore a new printer may be required. The engineer will have a new printer on board and these are an additional £150.00 + vat.

Stage 2

Once stage one is complete and your machine and has the new Bosch application software and/or a new computer installed, we are able to proceed to stage two.

The software comes as a DVD for self-install. A full installation instruction leaflet on the update procedure will be enclosed in your package. The update only takes a few minutes and is easy to complete. The software will be sent out closer to the date and in good time for the required date of 20th May.
