The two measurement pods are equipped with a total of four OLED displays and an active reference system. This allows for easier adjustments with a straight steering wheel, guaranteed.

The active reference system from left to right pod compensates movements and vibrations in realtime. This means that the position in relation to the vehicle can be compensated in 3D at any time during the measurement.

Every target carries a QR code with the calibration parameters attached to its reverse side. Scanning the code automatically transfers the exact measurement coordinates during the initial setup.

Thanks to this patented setup procedure, the targets can easily be switched among the wheel clamps without the any of pre-compensation, e.g. Porsche central clamps or magnetic clamps.

Each target carries its own coding between 1 and 8 on the frontside. This coding is assigned to the scanned QR code during the setup process. This allows the VAS 701 011 to automatically pull up the right calibration parameters for each target it recognizes.
