SVL Installation Training

Whilst it is not mandatory to attend an SVL training course to install SVL products, we always suggest that installers attend the one day training course to understand the benefits and features of the products, the best installation methods and “best practice” advice.

To be included in the recommended installers list you need to attend and pass an installation training course held regularly at our Taunton training centre. Check our training website to see the next available dates and to book your place.

Each training day will cover the installation of Rep Locks, Loom guards and Dead locks.

The training has minimal theory content and therefore the day is spent carrying out practical work on training doors and a live vehicle. Each course will cover:

Safety requirements
Measuring and marking
Bodywork cutting and drilling
Assembly instructions
Installation techniques
Checking & Testing
Recommended tooling
Certification

Reductions to the cost of training is available if you bring a vehicle to be installed on the day of training.
